How to Get a Quick Six Pack

If you want a 6 pack, you need to know how to lose your belly fat.

Six pack abs are what most men dream of, but in reality this fantasy is unlikely to break the confines of imagination. However in just a few easy steps, you too could be rippling with the best of them!

The concept is simple, however having the will power to put it into action is not. You will require willpower, patience and time. But I'm sure most ladies will agree that it is worth it in the end! It is worth remembering, however, that you can have fantastically toned and defined abs, but if they are covered in a layer of belly fat, they won't show through!

So, here we go. The 5 Steps that will make your abs rock solid:

  1. Do crunches. These involve lying on your back, with your arms crossed in front of your chest. Now, raise your shoulders towards your knees, using your abdominal muscles. Now lower your back down to the ground while exhaling through your nose. Do not allow your head to touch the ground. Repeat.
  2. Do sit ups. Lie on the floor with your feet on the floor and your knees raised at right angles. Cross your hands over your chest. Sit all the way up, and then lower yourself back down. Repeat.
  3. Do jack-knife sit ups. Lie flat on the floor with your hands at your sides. Raise your torso and knees. The idea is to make your knees and face meet on an imaginary line running from your pelvis to the ceiling. Lie back down and repeat. If you feel like a bit of an extra challenge, place a weight between your feet.
  4. Do leg lifts. Lie on your back with your legs stretched straight out, keeping your hands at your side. Lift your legs up to a ninety degree angle. Lower your legs, without letting them touch the floor. Repeat.
  5. Do v-ups. Lie on your back with your legs stretched straight out. Extend your hands over your head, so you are lying fully stretched out. Raise your legs and torso at the same time. It is important that you do not bend your knees. Reach towards your raised feet with your hands. Return to your starting position and repeat.

Since your abs are literally at the centre of your body, there are loads more exercises you can try to achieve your desired six pack. Try adding stability balls and extra weights when you start finding the exercises too easy. They're tried, tested and proven exercises to help you lose fat fast!
