Foods to Eat and Foods to Stay Away from
1st: Foods to Eat
Bodybuilders have a very High Protein Diet. You can find high amounts of Protein in Red Meats and White Meats(Steak, Chicken, Turkey), Egg whites(stay away from egg yolk-Very high amounts of cholesterol), Nuts(Peanuts, Cashews, Walnuts), and Protein shakes.
You should intake about 1.5 grams of Protein per 1lb of body weight. This may seem like a lot, but your body does not digest all of it.
2nd: Foods not to Eat
Stay away from Trans Fats and Saturated Fats. These both give you that belly fat you don't want. These fats also raise your cholesterol.
Sugars are a big NO NO! Sugars give you what I like to a “Snack Pack”, that unwanted ring of body fat that starts at your belly button and wraps around your waist. Sugars destroy muscle and have nothing beneficial about them.
Exercise like the Pro's
Here are a few ab exercises guaranteed to get you in shape.
Russian Twist for Obliques, Seated broom Twist for Obliques. These two will give you that nice side cut you've been looking for.
Vertical Leg Crunch for Lower abs, and Reverse Crunch for Lower Abs. These exercises focus on your lower stomach. Your lower abs are the hardest place to cut weight on, however once you do it plays the biggest factor in giving you that sexy looking stomach.
Crunches(Sit ups) for Upper Abs, Planks for Upper Abs. These two will really give you the rip in your upper abs. Your upper abs are the most worked throughout the day or workout and therefore usually need the least work before you start seeing results
