Achieve Six Pack Abs by Getting More From Cardio

In achieving that six pack abs, you need to get more from your cardio. Learn from this article how to burn more fats from the proper way of doing cardio.

You can strip abdominal fat away by switching around your cardio routine so you run hard early. A study by European Journal of Applied Physiology revealed that men burned more fats when they ran faster at the start of the workout. The study's subject ran at high intensity for 15 minutes during the first part of the workout, and then suddenly slowed down during the next 15 minutes. This was compared to a group who ran slower on the first 15 minutes and ran faster on the later part of the workout.

The group of men who ran faster during the first 15 minutes burned 5 to 10 percent more fat than the other group. This result had led to an interesting result and explanation, which is very useful in achieving the six pack abs.

The reason you will burn more fats when you run faster during the first part of your cardio workout is that your body need to break down the fat tissue first. These fat tissues are converted into fat molecules. This usually happens during high intensity workouts like when you run faster.

The fat molecules will then go to the cells to be burned. This usually happens at relatively lower intensity exercises.

To take advantage of this fat burning mechanism more effectively, you need to work out in higher intensity first then slow down during the second half of the cardio workout. This is your smart way to burn the belly fat and to show those abs.
